What You Can Do To Help:
- Take time to educate yourself on the South Coast Rail Project.
Visit our Links Page for additional information from other sites: South Coast Rail, SRPEDD, Norton Land Preservation etc.
For those who prefer to view the actual reference documents,
they are available at the Norton Public Library.
Also at the Norton library is a binder with CCATS handouts, maps and recent
newspaper articles.
Library hours are: Mon. Tue. & Thurs. 10 a.m.- 7p.m., Wed. 10a.m. - 1 p.m., Closed Friday through Sunday.
-
Raise Public Awareness:
Talk about the train issue with your children, neighbors, family and friends,
wherever you go: at school, church, your workplace, sports activities,
the coffee shop, at meetings of other clubs and organizations.
-
Supporters need not live in close proximity to the proposed train route.
CCATS is a regional coalition primarily made up of residents from:
Norton, Attleboro, Mansfield & Taunton, but we look forward to adding members
in Foxboro & Sharon, and welcome those who share our vision and commitment
wherever they live.
-
Emphasize there are absolutely no benefits to our communities.
-
